‘Hold Leaders Accountable, Remain Resolute’ – Atiku’s Message To Nigerians In 2025

As Nigerians welcome the New Year, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, on Tuesday, urged citizens to embrace unity, accountability, and vigilance in 2025.
In a New Year message, Atiku emphasized the importance of civic participation and collective efforts to guard against governmental overreach and division.
According to Atiku, “this year marks an opportunity to reshape and redefine our national dialogue.”
He stressed that Nigerians “must remain resolute in holding leaders accountable and preventing any misuse of power that could erode freedoms and values.”
Atiku acknowledged the challenges of 2024 but expressed gratitude for the resilience that has guided Nigerians through difficult times.
He praised the nation’s unwavering faith and divine protection as sources of strength, saying “the past year’s trials have strengthened our resolve.”
