Mozambique’s President, Filipe Nyusi has met with leaders of political parties.

The leader of the official opposition did not attend the meeting as he is currently in Europe.

The meeting was aimed at finding a solution to the current political and security situation.

While the opposition parties are still adamant that they will not accept the results, this meeting is seen as a better way of handling the impasse.
