Arsenal drop points again; Man City, Utd secure wins as Liverpool cruise

Arsenal have again dropped points in their race for the Premier League title this seas as they were held to a goalless draw by Nottingham Forest.
The game played on Wednesday night saw Super Eagles defender Ola Aina in action for Forest, and Taiwo Awoniyi coming in as a substitute in the 85th minute.
Forest, who are right below Arsenal in third spot of the league table, ensured they took a point from the game, and shattering Arsenal’s title chase to pieces.
Without the injured Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard and Mikel Merino were neat and tidy up front but offered no focal point.

The draw kept alive Forest’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season, sitting six points behind Arsenal and two clear of Chelsea in fifth.
It was a cruise for Liverpool who saw off Newcastle United 2-0 at Anfield, to go 13 points clear at the top of the table.
A first half goal by Dominik Szoboszlai and a second half goal by ALexis Mac Allister, secured the big win for Arne Slot’s team.
In the other Premier League games played on Wendy night, Manchester City pipped their hosts Tottenham 1-0 while Manchester United won a thrilling 3-2 over Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.
